Usually, Saratoga is the place to be. But at 3:26pm on Monday, April 8, 2024, I really wished I wasn’t in Saratoga.
I’d known about the solar eclipse coming to upstate New York for months, and even wrote a story detailing everything people needed to know about the once-in-a-lifetime celestial occurrence. I knew Saratoga wasn’t in the path of totality, I knew it wouldn’t get totally dark here, and yet…I stayed.
