Guests rolled into Saratoga National in droves last Friday night, more than 600 revelers in their brightest and finest red, white and blue. Since it’s not quite July, it could mean only one thing: American Cancer Society’s summer Red, White and Blue Party was in full swing. My boyfriend, Paul, and I were headed to the stunning tent area when we ran into Archie and Annette Quarrier, who had an insider tip—instead of fireworks, the night’s grand finale would be drones.

Before we continued our way to the bar, Kerry Fagan, owner of Mark Thomas Men’s Apparel, strolled by, looking sharp as always. “He instantly recognized that Arch was wearing one of his shirts,” an impressed Annette told me.
