For a city that’s more than 800 miles away from Churchill Downs, Saratoga sure knows how to throw a Kentucky-worthy Derby Day party. Actually, more accurately, the Spa City knows how to throw multiple über-popular Derby Day extravaganzas, and did just that this past Saturday. In an effort to be in all places at one time, the SLAH team split up, sending scouts to the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, Prime at Saratoga National, The Lodge at Saratoga Casino Hotel and a private backyard party on East Ave to, as we say, check the vibe.
