Sneak Peek: Brookmere Saratoga

Longfellows may be gone, but it’s certainly not forgotten. And nowhere is the memory of the iconic hotel and restaurant more poignant than at 500 Union Ave, where a new resort is gearing up to fill Longellows’ behemoth shoes.
“Everybody’s got an emotional tie to Longfellows,” says Julian Miller, the general manager of Brookmere Saratoga, a new resort by Bonacio Development that’s set to open on the former hotel’s grounds next month. “That’s one of the fun things as we meet perspective new clients—somebody had a rehearsal dinner there, or somebody went to prom there, or somebody got engaged there. There’s an emotional component to what Longfellows was within the community.”
On Tuesday, I went to check out Brookmere with Saratoga Living Director of Sales Annette Quarrier, who, as it happens, had her rehearsal dinner at Longfellows. From two-floor hotel rooms to wedding-day amenities brides will swoon over, here’s what we found.
