Hands-On Paella Cooking Class: Experience Boca Bistro’s hands-on cooking class with Executive Chef Ian Sinda. At 6pm tonight, Boca Bistro will be transformed into a culinary classroom where individuals will sharpen their cooking skills as they master the art of the perfect paella.
Thursday, March 13
Bailey’s Lalo Tequila Paring: This Thursday, join Bailey’s for a night of delicious food and hand-crafted cocktails. Grab your friends and indulge in a five-course meal paired with a selection of Lalo Tequila.
Jameson Coursed Paired Whiskey Dinner: Kick of St. Patrick’s Day weekend at The Hideaway. At 5pm this Thursday, the Saratoga Lake Golf Club’s restaurant will bring you a Jameson paired whiskey dinner with six courses of traditional Irish cuisine—with a Hideaway twist.
The Infamous Stringdusters: Progressive bluegrass band The Infamous Stringdusters will bring its innovative arrangements and genre-bending style to Universal Preservation Hall this Thursday at 7:30pm.
Friday, March 14
Palette Pi Day Friday: Mix, mingle, and munch with the Palette Community on National Pi Day (3/14). Going on from 5-7pm on Friday, this event (open to all current and future members—aka everyone) will offer connections with Palette members, a pi-themed scavenger hunt, and a Pi Challenge. Attendees are encouraged to bring their best homemade masterpiece or a store-bought pie to this potluck-style mixer.
DakhaBrakha at SPAC: This Friday, SPAC and Caffè Lena will present a musical journey with DakhaBrakha, the groundbreaking quartet from Ukraine that’s known for their blend of Ukrainian folk traditions and global influences. This powerful celebration of music, culture, and creativity will begin at 7:30pm.
Saturday, March 15
Lucky Puppy’s Pub Crawl: This Saturday, Bailey’s, Druthers, Cantina, Caroline St. Pub, and Whitman Brewing Co. will be teaming up with Lucky Puppy Rescue for a day of paw-some fun. The first-ever Lucky Puppy Pub Crawl will benefit the Argyle-based nonprofit and include pub crawl shirts, drink specials, and raffle prizes. Sunday, March 16
3rd Annual Saratoga Reptile Show: Geckos, pythons, komodo dragons, and all other manner of scaly, slithery beasts will be on display at the 3rd annual Saratoga Reptile Show, returning to the Saratoga Springs City Center following a blow-out 2nd annual show in 2024. Stop by at 10am this Sunday, or splurge on a VIP ticket for early access.
Monday, March 17
Keggz & Eggz: Just because St. Paddy’s Day falls on a Monday this year doesn’t mean the beer won’t flow. For the full Irish experience, head to Kings Tavern bright and early on Monday for the bar’s annual Keggz & Eggz breakfast. The first 100 people in the door will receive a complimentary St. Patrick’s Day t-shirt. Breakfast is free—Guinness is not.
