SLAH Beer Release Party at Walt Whitman
SLAH and Whitman Brewing—with partner Helen Mastrion of Hunt Real Estate—are celebrating local journalism tomorrow night in the best possible way. By drinking beer of course! It’s the launch of Saratoga Living’s first-ever beer, Wheat All About It—swing by Walt Whitman tomorrow night from 6-9pm to try a pint and grab your commemorative pint glass. PLUS: pizza, swag bags, private brewery tours, and live music by Paul Lambert. As always, photos will be taken for the next issue of the print magazine and published in this very SLAH newsletter. Victorian Streetwalk in Saratoga Springs
Grab the fam and kick off Santa Season Thursday night at Saratoga’s Victorian Streetwalk. Downtown will be completely decked out for the holidays, beginning with the tree lighting right at 6pm. Activities—from Santa visits in his Cottage to caroling and more—light up the town until 9pm. Be sure to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Toga. The Festival of Trees at the City Center, which will also run all weekend, will be doing a $5 special the night of the Streetwalk.

Miracle Night
Celebrate the Miracle on Ice’s dream victory—and keep its message alive—at Miracle Night at Cool Insuring Arena. The game starts at 7pm, with our Adirondack Thunder home team up against the Florida Everblades. PLUS: gold medalist Buzz Schneider, special USA jerseys and $4 Bud Light. Choose your tickets here!

Jingle Bell Run
The Arthritis Foundation’s annual Jingle Bell Run is here! Don your favorite festive outfit—and don’t forget your bell—and join the 5K to help raise money and awareness for arthritis research. Individuals or teams with family and friends are welcome! Sunday’s start time is 9am at Skidmore.

Paint & Sip at Lucy's Bar
There’s nothing more festive than homemade decorations, and here’s your chance to paint your own holiday scene—with a little extra help from an adult beverage or two. Lucy’s Bar (which is known for its holiday décor so the perfect inspiration!) is doing a holiday Paint & Sip next Tuesday from 6-7:30pm with local artist Jean Ellen Sotansky. Price includes the canvas to take home and use of paints, the painting lesson, two drinks and gratuity.
