Saratoga New Year’s Eve
The latest iteration of Saratoga’s New Year’s Eve party is, fittingly, called Saratoga New Year’s Eve. The festivities kick off with family-friendly activities and children’s crafts at the Saratoga Springs Rec Center from 3-5pm, followed by a live, outdoor Tops of Trees concert on Ellsworth Jones Place (outside the City Center) at 5pm. The New Year’s Eve fireworks show will begin at 6pm, and live music begins inside the City Center at 6:30pm. Here’s the schedule:
6:15 PM - Doors open
6:30 - 7:30 PM - Sawyer Fredericks (Meeting Room 1)
6:45 - 7:20 PM - Buggy Jive (Main stage)
7:30 - 10:30 PM - DJ Rvmba (Meeting Room 2) (second floor)
7:40 - 8:20 PM - Lindsey Kraft (Main stage)
7:40 - 8:40 PM - Cassandra Kubinski (& The Kubandskis) (Meeting Room 1)
8:30 - 10:00 PM - Ben Folds (Main stage)
8:50 - 9:50 PM - David J (Meeting Room 1)
Beyond the walls of the City Center, there will be live music at Universal Preservation Hall (The Figgs and Mystic Bowie’s Talking Dreads), Caffè Lena (Los Sugar Kings), and Putnam Place (the Dogs in a Pile show is sold out).
There are several ticket options, including $25 general admission to all shows (except Dogs in a Pile), $85 VIP tickets that get you seats in the VIP section for the Ben Folds concert, and $200 VIP+ tickets that get you seats in the front two rows for the headlining show.
The next morning (assuming you didn’t overindulge at the VIP cash bar), the First Day 5K will kick off at 11am at the City Center.
