Wednesday, March 5
Inspire Saratoga Launch Party: Join Michael Kurkowski, owner of Breakthrough Secrets Coaching, for the launch of Inspire Saratoga, a podcast created to learn, strengthen, and inspire the people of Saratoga County. Celebrate the stories that move the community on Wednesday at 5pm at Skidmore College’s McCaffery-Wagman Wellness Center.
Friday, March 7
REPRISE Recreates Phish: Celebrate the 10-year anniversary of NYS Music with a performance by REPRISE, which will recreate Phish's iconic SPAC show from the summer of ‘94, at Putnam Place. Doors open at 8pm and the show begins at 9pm.
Saturday, March 8
Hattie’s Mardi Gras: Let the good times roll at Hattie’s Mardi Gras, hosted for the first time at The New York State Museum in Albany. On Saturday from 6-10pm, eat delicious food by Hattie's Restaurants, listen to live music from The New York Players, and dance all night long for a great cause. All proceeds from the event will go to support organizations that are making a real difference in Albany: The Faces of Medicine Program for Underserved Youth at Albany Medical College and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region.
Blake Shelton Friends & Heroes Tour: Also in Albany: Country superstar Blake Shelton is heading to MVP Arena this Saturday. Grab your cowboy boots and get ready to sing along to classics including “Neon Light,” “Sangria,” “God’s Country,” and many more.
Brass Queens: Keeping with the Mardi Gras theme, New Orleans–inspired band Brass Queens will offer a night of funky grooves and powerhouse musicians. The all-female band has been rocking venues worldwide, and now they’re bringing their signature sound to Universal Preservation Hall this Saturday at 8:30pm.
Sunday, March 9
The Hideaway’s Mardi Gras Party: And the Mardi Gras hits keep coming! Continue the festivities on Sunday at The Hideaway with beads, booze, and beignets. From 11am-2pm, the restaurant will be serving all the classics, from jambalaya to muffuletta, plus signature cocktails and live entertainment.
