For spooky drink specials with a side of competitive pool, don your best costume and head straight to Tap & Barrel. The party starts at 8pm, when the bar’s normal pool tournament kicks off. But tonight, pool sharks will have to share the limelight with a second set of winners. With $250 in cash and prizes up for grabs, expect a crowd in award-worthy costumes. Wanna go local? If you need to fuel up before your night out, make a reservation at Panza’s, which will host a special Halloween party complete with free psychic readings. Click the Instagram post above to get in the spooky spirit.
Wine lovers, here’s your chance to sip and swirl for a good cause. AIM Services highlights the delicious, lesser-known wines of Portugal at its 9th Annual Vin Le Soir fundraising event, The Spirit of Portugal! The evening (event runs 5:30-7:30pm) features musical entertainment by Maria Z, hors d’oeuvres and desserts by Wandering Food Dude, and wine tastings with Brian “the wine guy” Gwynn—plus raffles and a silent auction to support the winter needs of the families in AIM’s community services program.

It’s girls’ night out at Putnam Place! Back by popular demand, it’s time to drool over the chiseled hunks of Girls Night Out: The Male Revue, in town for one night only. Doors open at 7pm; show starts at 8pm. Expect fun dance numbers from some of the country’s hottest dancers—who just happen to have chiseled abs they’re not afraid to show off, and hip moves to make you scream. Grab your pals and head on over; the least shy in the group just might end up on stage with the men.
Friday, November 3
Saratoga Voices brings the choral arts to the Spa Little Theatre for a performance of Magnificat! Music that Makes the Spirit Soar. Don’t miss an unforgettable evening of enchanting melodies, under the direction of Noah Palmer. The show starts at 7:30pm.

Horse racing fans, remember that this Saturday is the Breeders’ Cup! Kentucky Derby winner Mage is out, but there are a lot of Saratoga connections to keep your eyes out for. Most notable: Jena Antonucci-trained Travers winner Arcangelo, favored to win the Classic with Javier Castellano riding. Check out USA Network for early coverage both Friday and Saturday before jumping to NBC at 3:30pm Saturday; post time for the main event is 6:40pm.
