All of this week's spooky festivities, from wine dinners and trivia to film screenings and a masquerade ball.
Wednesday, October 30
Trick-or-Treat Wine Dinner: Take a break mid-week to enjoy a four-course, Autumn-themed wine dinner at The Wishing Well, starting at 6pm. Courses include Thai green curry chicken, pan-seared diver scallops, duck confit and hazelnut meringue, all paired with two wines served blind during each course. Tickets are $85 per person plus tax and gratuity.
Halloween Trivia Night: Think you know about all things ghostly and scary? Test your knowledge at Artisanal Brew Works’ very own Halloween trivia night this Wednesday from 7-9pm. Expect thrilling prizes, bubbling drinks and snacks; hurry over to this event before the goblins and ghouls beat you to all the eerie fun!
’Til Death Film Screening: The 518 Film Network, Skidmore College and Saratoga Arts are teaming up to bring you a night of a locally produced short films. ’Til Death, a cinematic screening of a dying love, will begin with a VIP cocktail hour at 6pm, followed by the screenings at 7:30pm at Saratoga Arts.

Thirsty Owl Halloween Party: If trick-or-treating isn’t your cup of tea, stop by the Thirsty Owl from 6-9pm for a fun-filled Halloween night. Come in your scariest, most creative, or sexiest costume to win prizes, dance to killer beats by DJ TJ, and eat and drink some spooky specials off of the Thirsty Owl menu.
Halloween 4-course Prix Fixe Wine Dinner: Join Chez Pierre for their four-course Halloween-themed prix fixe wine dinner this Thursday. For $80 a person before tax and gratuity, you’ll get special menu items including Seafood au Gratin, Beef Tips Chasseur, Chocolate Trifle and much more.
Friday, November 1
Warren Miller Ski Movie: Alpine Sport Shop will be hosting a watch party of the new Warren Miller ski movie at the Trombley Auditorium at Maple Avenue Middle School at 7pm this Friday. Tickets are for purchase at Alpine Sport Shop’s Clinton Street location and at the door. Proceeds will benefit the Saratoga Springs High School Alpine Ski Team and Double H Ranch’s Adaptive Winter Sports Program.
Coat Room’s Masquerade Ball: Dress to impress at Coat Room’s masquerade ball, coming to the speakeasy-style restaurant and bar this Friday at 7pm. Enjoy a night of dancing, drinks, hors d'oeuvres, a best dressed contest, photo booth and more.
Saturday, November 2
Sip and Shoot: Imagine paint and sip, but for photography. From 5:30-9:30pm this Saturday, the Elks Lodge is welcoming photographers, makeup artists and models alike for an evening of networking, mingling and photoshoots!
Sunday, November 3
Veterans Ball: Veterans and Community Housing Coalition is hosting its 9th annual Veterans Ball at the Hall of Springs this Sunday beginning at 5pm. The event will honor local veterans and raise money for housing and support services for homeless military veterans and their families.
