Wednesday, April 2
Hattie’s Helping Hands: Head to any of the Capital Region’s three Hattie’s locations this Wednesday to help support Jake’s Help From Heaven, a local nonprofit that enhances the quality of life for individuals with lifelong, debilitating illnesses. Twenty-five percent of the local chain’s sales that day will go directly to the organization.
Thursday, April 3
Keuka Spring Vineyards One Year Anniversary: Join Keuka Spring Vineyards from 6-8pm this Thursday as the winery celebrates one year at its Saratoga Springs tasting room. Tickets include a curated selection of light appetizers from Comfort Kitchen, tastings of the vineyard’s signature wines, and a live set by DJ Ketchup.
Friday, April 4
Spring Shops at the Center: Get your springtime shopping (Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduation) done now! This Friday, the Saratoga Senior Center will host Spring Shops at the Center, an open-to-the-public shopping event featuring art, crafts, and gifts, from 2-6pm.
Saturday, April 5
Yoga Class at Whitman Brewing: Connect mind, body, and spirit with a free 75-minute yoga flow at Whitman Brewing this Saturday from 10:15-11:30am, guided by Kali from Continuous Evolution LLC. Bring your yoga mat, relax, and enjoy a free beverage of your choice afterward from Whitman’s beer hall or Walt Cafe.
Saratoga Sustainability Fair: Sustainable Saratoga and Skidmore College are teaming up to connect ideas, build futures, and collaborate for a sustainable community. Taking place this Saturday from 10am-2pm at the Billie Tisch Center for Integrated Sciences at Skidmore College, this free, family-friendly event will allow attendees to explore eco-friendly ways of living. Kids will have the opportunity to tour an electric school bus, collaborate on a community art project, and more.
Sunday, April 6
Anything That Floats: Head to Mechanicville to witness dozens of unique, locally-made vessels (not boats) float down the Anthony Kill. While the signature float will take place at 2:30pm, there’s a full roster of activities to enjoy throughout the day, including a vendor fair, kids’ games and scavenger hunt, a White Water derby, and a Cast Off derby.
