Visit Old Gick Farm to experience the beauty of the endangered Karner blue butterfly. The opportunity to see the endangered species hatch only comes around twice a year, with their first brood being in late May and the second in July. The guided Karner blue butterfly walk through the farm meadows will provide an educational experience about how the butterfly became endangered and the Saratoga Sandplains ecosystem the insect thrives in. The walk will take place from 1:30-2:30pm. Attendance is free but registration for the event is required online at wiltonpreserve.org or by calling the office at (518) 450-0321.
