This Saturday, celebrate Secretariat’s birthday at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. The Museum will be hosting a birthday bash for the Triple Crown winner, complete with all sorts of activities for kids (including a build-your-own trophy station, jockey dress-up, and an “Easter egg” scavenger hunt) from 10am-2pm. They’ll also be playing the movie Secretariat beginning at 11am. Big Red’s big day is free to attend with the cost of regular Museum admission.
Speaking of Easter egg hunts, there’s more where that came from, and this time, adults are invited! On Saturday beginning at noon, Cantina will host a hunt for 50 colorful eggs, which will be hidden around Congress Park. Various prizes, some of which may be 21+, will be redeemable at Cantina on Saturday and Sunday. Lola Saratoga is also hosting a hunt—this one for 24 eggs filled with luxury prizes valued at more than $1,700 that will be hidden around downtown Saratoga. The hunt begins at 9am and continues until all the eggs are found.
