Tuesday, May 14
Double H Ranch is presenting an all-new fundraising event celebrating women in our community this evening. Breaking Bubbles, going on at Franklin Square Market from 5-8pm, will feature a keynote speech by former Cosmopolitan editor in chief Kate White, plus Prosecco and chocolate tastings, a floral arrangement workshop and curated food stations by Franklin Square. Come wearing shades of rosé, blush or champagne!

In case you missed it, the Saratoga Farmers’ Market has moved outside for the summer! Stop by High Rock Park to shop all sorts of local foods and products on Wednesdays from 3-6pm and Saturdays from 9am-1pm.
Thursday, May 16
Universal Preservation Hall’s annual Shaken & Stirred Celebrity Bartender Party returns to Saratoga National this Thursday…Come party with Saratoga Living, aka the paparazzi! This year, we’re one of eight teams going head to head in a bartender battle to raise money for UPH’s educational programming. (Wondering how it works? Check out our recap of last year’s event.) Be sure to come early—the party starts at 5:30pm and we go behind the bar at 6pm sharp—and dress to impress, because we’ll be snapping photos for the next issue of the magazine. There’s no cover charge, but tips—all of which go directly to UPH—are appreciated! Can’t make it? You can still donate to the cause.

There are still tickets left for Gateway House of Peace’s Butterfly Ball, going on from 6-10pm this Friday at The Barn at Twin Leaf Farms in Greenfield Center. On the agenda? Food, music, a silent auction, a raffle to win $10,000.
Saturday, May 18
Hungover from Friday night? The best cure—Bloody Marys—will be in high supply in Saratoga on Saturday, when the 4th annual Bloody Mary Fest will take over the Spa City from 11am-4pm. Your $12 ticket will get you a T-shirt, map and discounted Bloody Marys at Kindred, Henry Street Taproom, Morrissey’s, Bocage Champagne Bar, Whitman Brewing, Rhea, Clancy’s and Harvey’s. All proceeds will go to the Jessica B. Dorronsoro Memorial Fund to benefit the son of a longtime Saratoga waitress who was killed in a traffic accident in 2022.

If you don’t have tickets for Sunday’s sold out Hozier concert at SPAC, you still have a chance to see live music in Saratoga this weekend. Caffè Lena is presenting its free, annual Sing in the Streets neighborhood festival on Sunday from noon-4pm, featuring 14 bands performing on six stages around Saratoga’s East Side. Be one of the first to see The Fledgling, a new short film by local filmmaker Joe Gietl, at Saratoga Arts this Sunday at 12:30pm.When a young orphan girl is turned by a vampire couple on the fringe of a small Missouri town, they’re forced to find a new home and raise the family none of them expected. The trio are soon pursued by a private investigator hired by a shadowy organization that threatens everything they’ve worked towards. The afternoon will feature a showing of opener film The Void as well as a Q&A with the filmmaker and producer/actor Chris Gaunt. Tickets are $15.
