This week, the key to your midweek pick-me-up will be stopping by Lucy’s Bar on Caroline Street for Key Sparkling Water’s pop-up event. You will receive a physical key with the purchase of a speciality Key drink. Try your key on their padlock, and if it opens, you’ll receive a $50 gift. The night of cocktails, mocktails and shenanigans will go from 6-9 p.m.

Belmont Child Care Association’s Racing for the Children event returns this Thursday for an evening of auctions, dinner and fun that will honor Jackson Family Wines’ Barbara Banke and LSU Stables. The night will kick off with cocktails and a silent auction at 6:30pm at The Adelphi Hotel before moving over to Universal Preservation Hall, where dinner and a live auction await. The celebrity emcee is NYRA analyst Andy Serling and the celebrity auctioneers are Maggie Wolfendale-Morley and husband Tom Morley. Tickets are $300 and can be purchased here.

Vermont-based jam band Phish will play two benefit concerts at SPAC Friday and Saturday evening. (Yes, on Travers weekend; the city of Saratoga Springs, population 30,000, is expected to host some 100,000 people this weekend.) Proceeds will go toward flood recovery efforts for the areas in Vermont and Upstate New York hit with heavy rain and flooding early this month. Tickets start at $65.20. Doors open at 6pm. and the show starts at 7:30pm.
If Phish isn’t your jam, you can sip on fine wine, craft beverages and enjoy an elegant dinner at LifePath's 25th Annual Travers Soirée this Friday at 6pm. The event will take place at Saratoga National Golf Club on the eve of Travers Day. Amongst mingling, the night will also offer the opportunity to bid in a silent auction, and live music from Reggie’s Red Hot Feet Warmers. General admission tickets are $200 and $175 for Young Professionals, ages 21-35 years old. Not able to make it? Consider donating to the cause, which supports older adults.

It still may be a while before we see snow fall, (or did I just jinx it?!) but even West Mountain stays lively during the off-season summer months. This year, the ski hill welcomes their brand-new Endless Summer Promotion event. The day of fun will feature free scenic chairlift rides with live music and food and drink vendors. Additional activities, including an aerial high ropes adventure, mountain biking and mountaintop picnics, can also be purchased. Grab your tickets in advance here or call 518-636-3699 to book. The festivities will kick-off at 9am. and wrap up at 3pm.

Keep the outdoor festivities rolling into Sunday at the inaugural Saratoga Shred Fest, a celebration of mountain biking by way of group rides around the Spa City. Group rides are available at all levels at areas trail systems including Luther Forest, Kalabus Perry and Daniels Road State Forest; sign up here. After your ride, shredders can convene at Glenham Farm for a party with live music, farm-to-table food, vendors and kids games from 5-8pm.
