Tuesday, December 3
Chestwood: 150 Years of History and Preservation: Join the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation in celebrating the 150th anniversary of Chestwood—a Second Empire residence located at 432 Grand Avenue—at a virtual event going on at 7pm tonight on Zoom. Local historian Carol Godette will provide the introduction, then current homeowners Kristi Krulcik and Marco Anichini will share stories about their home’s former inhabitants. A $10 donation is suggested.
BEVS Holiday Sampling Event: In search of your next favorite drink? Head to BEVS in Malta from 3-7pm today to sample new products from multiple brands. You’ll be able to meet the brewers and reps behind some of this area’s top brands, and receive double BEVS rewards points on any of the brands you sampled at the event.
Wednesday, December 4
Saratoga Festival of Trees: This Wednesday to Sunday, The Saratoga Springs City Center will be transformed into a winter wonderland of more than 250 decorated Christmas trees. The 29th annual Festival of Trees will support Catholic Charities of Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties. Stop by on Thursday, the night of the Victorian Streetwalk; Friday for the inaugural Tinsel & Tonic happy hour event; or Saturday for Breakfast with Santa.
Thursday, December 5
Victorian Streetwalk: Celebrate the 38th Annual Victorian Streetwalk in downtown Saratoga this Thursday from 5-9pm. With live entertainment, a tree-lighting at 6pm and plenty of other festive activities, this Saratoga Springs tradition is something you won’t want to miss.
Friday, December 6
Holiday Fiesta with the Saratoga Lake Association: Join the Saratoga Lake Association, whose mission is to promote and enhance the quality, natural beauty and safe recreational use of Saratoga Lake, for a fiesta at The 408 (Cantina’s second floor). The fundraiser kicks off at 6pm on Friday and will feature food, an open bar ’til 8pm, raffles and music by the Innocent Bystanders.
A Holiday Cabaret: Listen to the sounds of Christmas at Saratoga Music Hall as Home Made Theater presents A Holiday Cabaret. This captivating performance—held Friday and Saturday at 7pm, with an additional show at 2pm on Sunday—will feature holiday classics and stories that will fill you with joy.
Merry Swift-Mas: Get ready to shake it off at Universal Preservation Hall as they host their very own Taylor Swift–themed holiday dance party this Friday beginning at 6:30pm. From specialty mocktails and a friendship bracelet–making station to DJSwiftie’s rocking tunes, this night will surely live up to your wildest dreams.
Saturday, December 7
Jingle Bell Run: Put on your running shoes and wear your favorite holiday costume as you jingle all the way for a cause! This Saturday, head over to Skidmore College at 10am for the 40th annual Jingle Bell Run, the original festive race that raises funds for the Arthritis Foundation.
Sunday, December 8
The Giving Jar’s Winter Mini Gala: This Sunday from noon-4pm, The Giving Jar will host a semiformal fundraiser for Saratoga Center for the Family at Chianti Il Ristorante. Guests will receive two complimentary beverages and rotating appetizers, and will have the opportunity to bid in the silent auction.
