Saratoga County Restaurant Week: There’s still time to cash in on meal deals all across Saratoga County. Restaurant Week, which started last Wednesday, continues this week through Thursday. Check out a complete list of participating restaurants here.
Wednesday, March 4
Pizza Wars: Let your tastebuds decide who will be crowned “best pizza” at the first-ever Pizza Wars, hosted by the Saratoga Schools Education Foundation at the Saratoga Springs High School cafeteria from 5:30–7:30pm this Wednesday. Seven local faves—Pizza Etc, Pope’s Pizza, Caputo’s Pizzeria, West Avenue Pizza, Rustic Pizza and Eats, D’Andrea’s, and 9 Miles East—can be sampled to support student programs and opportunities. Tickets are $5 online and $7 at the door.
American Wine Society Saratoga Chapter Wine Tasting: Sip your way into March with the American Wine Society Saratoga Chapter at 6:30pm at Keuka Spring Vineyards’ new Saratoga tasting room. Guests will enjoy six curated tastings, plus light bites. Tickets are $35 for members and $40 for guests, with special discounts and perks available for AWS members throughout the evening. St. Patrick’s Day Warm Up: Get St. Paddy’s Day ready at Harvey’s, which this Wednesday will host two mixology classes (at 5 and 7pm) featuring cocktails made using Redbreast and Jameson. While you shake up four Irish cocktails, snack on a buffet of French fries, sliders, and mac and cheese.
Thursday, March 5
Matthew Morrison: If you were a Glee fan, you know him as Will Schuester. This Thursday, the Tony-, Emmy-, and Golden Globe–nominated Matthew Morrison, best known for his role as the teacher who led the William McKinley High School Glee Club, will take the stage at Universal Preservation Hall at 7:30pm. Audiences can expect a mix of Broadway faves, the classics, and connection.
Saturday, March 7
Saratoga Springs History Museum Grand Reopening: After being closed for the winter season, the Saratoga Springs History Museum, located in the Canfield Casino, will reopen its doors this Saturday and unveil a new AI Tour Guide feature, in which museum goers can chat directly with figures from Saratoga’s past, like John Morrissey.
Braided Heritage: Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s Braided Heritage: Tracing the Roots of American Cuisine, a free program offered through the CulinaryArts@SPAC series featuring food historian Dr. Jessica B. Harris, is fully booked, but you can still join the waitlist.
Whiskey, Wine, and Wishes: Make-A-Wish Vermont & Northeastern New York’s Whiskey, Wine & Wishes gala, going on this Saturday at the Canfield Casino, is also sold out, but you can still be a part of the magic by participating in the event’s auction, going on online now.

Seven Bistro’s Annual Soup Off: There are plenty of soup/chili/chowder festivals in which attendees get to try dishes made by their favorite local restaurants. But this Soup Off, hosted by Clifton Park restaurant Seven Bistro, is your chance to show off your own soup-cooking chops. The public is invited to enter a soup for a $10 fee (sign up online to ensure there are no duplicate soups), or just show up to try them all!
