Saratoga Living Insiders Club X Friends of SPAC Meet-up: Eager to get more involved in the Saratoga community, but aren't sure where to start? Come out to meet members of two of of the city's most involved groups—Friends of SPAC and the Saratoga Living Insiders Club—at Whitman Brewing this Friday from 6-8pm. Light fare will be provided. This event is free to attend, but we do ask that you RSVP.
Ballston Spa Chocolate Fest: On the eve of Saratoga’s biggest food festival of the year, head to Ballston Spa for Chocolate Fest, the 10th annual event during which local businesses open their doors to provide $2 samples of chocolate goodies—everything from chocolate baklava to chocolate stout. The event runs from 5-9pm, but we’d recommend getting there early…some popular sweets have been known to sell out!
Saturday, February 8
Saratoga Chowderfest: The much anticipated 26th annual Saratoga Chowderfest returns to Saratoga this Saturday from 11am-4pm. Stop by some 90 participating restaurants to try 4oz. samples of their best chowder; once you’ve sampled a bunch, cast your vote for your favorite!
Sunday, February 9
Super Bowl VIP Watch Party: If you don’t get enough beer or fattening food at Chowderfest, you’ll have a chance to try again on Sunday! Football fans should nab a ticket to The Bunker’s VIP Watch Party, complete with private mezzanine access, complimentary appetizers, raffles, and more. Not looking to pay $30? The public is welcome in the Bunker’s main dining room.
The Whitman Takeout Special: If your ideal Super Bowl Sunday involves your couch, you can’t go wrong with Whitman Brewing’s take-out special. Choose from two packages: The Whitman, complete with chips and queso, chicken wings, pretzel sticks, and two Detroit-style pizzas, or The Deluxe, which includes all those things plus an extra pizza and two four-packs of beer. Pick up your order by 7:30pm to be home in time for the big game.
