Once Upon a Time Yoga Adventure Story Time: We’re more than a month into summer vacation…Are you looking for something different to do with your kiddos? Check out Northshire Bookstore’s Yoga Adventure Story Time, featuring a reading of Xin Li’s I Lived Inside a Whale and partner yoga by children’s yoga instructor Bridget Epiphanie. Both kids and adults are invited to join in on the asanas and pranayama that fit the action of the story. 10:30am
An Evening with John Legend: The biggest night in SPAC’s 2024 classical season is here. Tonight, the Philadelphia Orchestra will be joined onstage by pop star John Legend, who will sing, play the piano and tell stories alongside the Orchestra’s world-class musicians. Hear from Anthony Parnther, the performance’s Hollywood conductor, here. 7:15pm

Mocktail Happy Hour: Keep the good vibes rolling right into the weekend. Head to Broadway Coffee Co on Friday (and every Friday in August!) for buy-one-get-one mocktails including sans-gria and nojitos as well as a small menu of snacks including charcuterie, obviously. 5-8pm

Glens Falls Vegan Festival: Glens Falls is going plant-based this Saturday! Well, not completely, but the city is hosting a Vegan Festival in Glens Falls City Park. Vendors include Farmacy, Bitchin Donuts, Downtown Social and many more, plus restaurants that won’t set up in the park but will be offering plant-based specials throughout the day. Come for the vegan food and stay for the live music! 11am-3pm

Throwback Happy Hour: For a happy hour that’s a bit, well, boozier, head to Bocage, which is hosting the unofficial pregame for the New Kids on the Block and Paula Abdul concert at SPAC! They’ll be throwing it back to the MTV era with drink specials, a selfie station and all the nostalgia you can handle. Leg warmers encouraged! 1-5pm
