Tuesday, July 1
ARTEMIS Jazz Concert: Fresh off being featured on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Series, the award-winning, all-female supergroup takes a break from international touring to play at Skidmore College’s Arthur Zankel Music Center on Tuesday at 7:30pm. Part of the Skidmore Jazz Institute’s 2025 concert series, the show is free and open to the public.
Wednesday, July 2
Summer Sunset Socials: Pitney Meadows and Brave Lion Wholehearted Wellness invite you to set down your phone and reconnect with your inner child at Summer Sunset Socials, an electronics-free weekly event that emphasizes slowing down and being present in the outdoors. Stop by the community farm from 6:30-8:30pm this Wednesday (and every Wednesday through August 6) to fly a kite, play games, and wait for the fireflies to arrive.
Women Aren’t Funny featuring Bethany Van Delft: Searching for an event that’s both entertaining and empowering? Look no further than UPH’s “Women Aren’t Funny” series! This Wednesday’s show features Bethany Van Delft, winner of Boston Magazine’s 2019 Best Comic and producer of several acclaimed comedy shows. On the agenda? Laid-back yet hilariously on-the-nose commentary about Van Delft’s day-to-day life.
Thursday, July 3
July 4th Racing Festival: For the first time ever, Saratoga Race Course will host the July 4th Racing Festival, typically held at Belmont Park, from Thursday, July 3–Sunday, July 6. Expect a full slate of top-notch racing, as well as a sunglasses giveaway on Friday and an ice cream–eating contest on Saturday.
The Lumineers: Top off a day at the track at SPAC, which will host The Lumineers with Hippo Campus. The show starts at 7:30pm.
Friday, July 4
Firecracker 4 Road Race: What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than the Firecracker 4? Located in downtown Saratoga and kicking off at 9am, this four-mile race is back for its 19th year. It’s open to competitive racers as well as those who’d prefer to walk the course.
Saratoga’s All American Celebration: After you’ve tired yourself out in the Firecracker 4, head back into town on Friday evening for the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce’s annual All American Celebration, a free event featuring caricatures, face painters, a concert, balloon animals, and a fireworks show at 9pm.
Sunday, July 6
Fenimore Blues: Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center’s summer concert series kicks off in Congress Park this Sunday with a free show by Fenimore Blues. The show starts at 7pm at the War Memorial, and runs approximately 90 minutes. The series runs every Sunday in July and every Tuesday in August.
