On Saturday, it’s time for a family-friendly Snowman Scavenger Hunt at local retailers, a Fire & Ice Trail of local bars and restaurants serving up warming bites and crafted cocktails, a flannel photo contest at the Saratoga City Center, and a free movie at the City Center at 11am. On Saturday night, return to Night Owl for an Après Ski Party!

Events continue on Saturday (including a workshop on non-violence led by Linda LeTendre and Skidmore professor Kate Graney), Sunday (don’t miss Civil Minds Think Alike, an exploration of Dr. Kings values, how they inspire people, and how they connect with youth today), and Monday (the weekend culminates in Dr. King Day of Service and a celebration featuring music by Garland Nelson at United Methodist Church). Read more on mlksaratoga.org.
Dry Fridays at Canopy: Saratoga’s newest garden center has been more than a garden center from the start (there’s an onsite café!). But the folks at Canopy are taking things up a notch with the debut of Dry Fridays. This Friday, they’re staying open late and serving up a lineup of handcrafted mocktails while the Lance Corner Jazz Collective performs from 6–8pm. No tickets required.
