Monday, June 16
Family Tree: Head to Putnam Place tonight (and every Monday) to enjoy classic rock and soul hits performed by local supergroup Family Tree (Steve Candlen, Kenny Hohman, Lori Friday, Chris Carey, and Chad Ploss). Doors open at 7:30pm, and the performance begins at 8pm.
Tuesday, June 17
Mostly Modern Festival: Haven’t made it out to see one of the shows in Mostly Modern Festival’s 2025 season yet? You still have three more chances, including this Tuesday’s Mostly Modern Brass program, Wednesday’s “Voices of Today Sing!,” and Friday’s 6th season finale with the Mostly Modern Orchestra and conductor Andrew Crust. All performances take place at 7:30pm at Skidmore’s Arthur Zankel Music Center.
Thursday, June 19
Juneteenth Celebration: Gather at the Saratoga YMCA’s outdoor pavilion on Thursday for an all-day (11:30am–4pm) celebration of freedom. On the agenda is music, interpretive dancing, performances, poetry, and more, alongside family-friendly workshops and a reception with cake and ice cream. The event is free and open to the public—no YMCA membership necessary.
Truth In Action Juneteenth Festival: South of the Twin Bridges, the Albany Institute of History and Art will have its own Juneteenth celebration with a full day of performances, gallery tours, and hands-on art activities. If you haven’t seen the Americans Who Tell the Truth exhibition by Robert Shetterly, now’s the time to do it—for free.
Music & Mingling: If you read our recap of the Saratoga Senior Center’s 70th Anniversary Celebration, then you know this signature event from the organization will be a good time. Taking place on Thursday at 7pm—at Siro’s for the first time ever—it will provide ample networking opportunities alongside food stations, an open bar, live music, and a silent auction.
Friday, June 20
Red, White & Blue Party: There are still GA tickets for American Cancer Society of the Capital Region’s party of the summer, going on at Saratoga National Golf Course this Friday beginning at 7pm. The all-American-themed celebration will be complete with gourmet barbecue by Mazzone, live music and dancing with Ten Most Wanted, and more.
Saturday, June 21
SoBro Conservancy’s Summer Solstice Celebration: Celebrate the longest day of the year with SoBro, the organization that has created a pollinator-friendly garden where Broadway becomes South Broadway, this Saturday from 9–10am. The informal gathering will honor the Eshaghian Family for the transformational gift they gave SoBro and feature strolls through the garden, speakers, a plant scavenger hunt, and more. The event is free and open to all.
Farm Showcase: Spend your Saturday outside and help preserve Saratoga County’s farmland by joining Saratoga PLAN for its 2nd Annual Farm Showcase, going on from 11am–4pm. Along the self-guided tour of local farms, there will be plenty of opportunities for tastings, animal interactions, art activities, educational programs, and more.
The Wesley Community Gala: This Saturday, be transported to the Italian coast at The Wesley Foundation’s annual gala, this year with a “La Dolce Vita” theme. Going on at the Lodge at Saratoga Casino Hotel on Saturday at 6pm, the evening will feature dinner, complimentary beverages, music by Jukebox Rebellion, and a silent auction. The event will raise funds to purchase a new accessible bus for Wesley Health Care Center.
Pride Brew Fest: Head to Dancing Grain Farm Brewery in Moreau on Saturday for a family-friendly festival to benefit Saratoga Pride’s youth programs. The party kicks off at noon and will include beverage tastings from local breweries, wineries, distilleries; live music by Josh Celvenstine and Yeah Universe; a curated lineup of local artisans; special guests from Lucky Puppy Rescue; food from 80K Street Plates; a bounce house; and more. Tickets are on sale now.
Sunday, June 22
Saratoga Pride Fest: The Pride Month festivities continue on Sunday with Saratoga Pride’s free annual festival! Head to High Rock Park from 2-5pm for live music, a drag show, community vendors, and family friendly activities…rainbow attire encouraged! Afterward, head to the after-party at Whitman Brewing.
Great Sonatas: Rising classical musical stars George Li, Evren Ozel, Stella Chen, and Sterling Elliott will breathe new life into iconic works from Beethoven, Brahms, and Mozart at this Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center performance at the Spa Little Theater. The show starts at 3pm.
