There’s only one suitable way to spend the eve of October: at an Oktoberfest, of course! Capital Regionites can take their pick from a few options this Saturday—German festivities will be going on at Ballston Spa’s The Real McCoy Brewing, Malta’s Active Ingredient Brewing and Glenville’s Maalwyck Park. For those willing to make the drive, Whiteface Mountain’s Oktoberfest offers two full days (Saturday and Sunday) of beer-drinking, gondola-riding and leaf-peeping up near Lake Placid.
Sunday, October 1
Catch the third of three shows that singer/songwriter/pianist Vienna Teng will play at Caffe Lena this weekend on Sunday at 7pm. (The first two are Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 8pm.)
