Missed Connection Monday
We interrupt your regularly scheduled Game Time programming to help one Saratogian shoot his shot.
If you’ve been with Saratoga Living After Hours since the beginning, you may remember when we tried to get Missed Connection Monday off the ground. We asked Saratogians to send in notes to love interests they missed their chance to approach, in hopes that the love interests would reach out to be connected with their suitors. Well, it’s been almost a year, but Missed Connection Monday may be finally taking off.
Here’s a (slightly dramatized) message meant for the blonde Bailey’s waitress who was wearing a winter hat for the US soccer game this past Saturday morning, which was scribbled on a piece of notebook paper that eventually found its way to the matchmakers of SLAH:
Dearest waitress,
I ever so enjoyed our encounter. I would love to cherish more memories in the nearest of futures. Would love to make your acquaintance over a cocktail or perhaps a stroll.
