Typically, the beginning of December is a sad time to be a pickleball player. After eight months of playing outdoors for free, you’re all of a sudden forced to pay a pretty penny for private court time at one of the Capital Region’s indoor pickleball clubs, or pay slightly less to play on gym floors at YMCAs and community centers. But who really wants to play on gym floors?
