Game Time: V-Day Edition
Can you answer these Saratoga trivia questions, and then find the link between them?
For this week’s very-Valintinesy edition of Game Time, we’re taking a page out of quiz game Linkee’s book…or, more accurately, a card out of its deck. If you’ve never played Linkee before, it goes something like this.
One person’s the judge, and he or she selects a card. Here’s what it looks like:
The judge reads each of the four trivia questions out loud to the rest of the players, who write down the answers (or what they think are the answers) without saying them out loud. The goal isn’t to come up with the correct answers to the trivia questions—it’s to find the link between them. So, on the card above, for example, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards and Dalmatians are all animals with spots. The first player to call out “animals with spots” wins that card. (The clue is read if none of the players can find the link after all four trivia questions have been read.) Here’s another example:
The link is “Banana” because each of the trivia answers go with the word banana—banana bread, Banana Republic, Banana Boat and banana split.
Sound fun? Good, because we’ve come up with three Linkee cards of our own, each related to Saratoga and Valentine’s Day. Keep scrolling to give them a try…and become a paid subscriber to get the answers sent directly to your inbox tomorrow.
