After two weekends of soft openings, Ballston Spa's new brewery gears up for its grand opening, ready or not.
For not being officially open yet, Speckled Pig Brewing was slammed on Friday night. “It was a sh** show,” co-owner Larry Hyde said near the end of the evening, when the spirited crowd had finally begun to thin, and then again when I called him up on Monday, four days before the brewery’s grand opening. “We definitely won’t be a well-oiled machine come Friday…but it will be fun.”
