Noah’s Italian

The biggest buzz around town has undoubtedly been Noah’s, which finally opened to the public this past Tuesday. I’m sad to say I haven’t been yet, but I did talk to someone who has—actually, someone who’s name is on the menu.
“The moment you step into Noah’s, the atmosphere takes over,” says Kristen “Saucy” Suraci, the namesake of the Saucy’s Vodka Sauce, which Chef Noah Frese uses in his Fried Mom’s Spaghetti appetizer. “The space is elevated and full of energy in a way the Capital Region doesn’t often see.”
Kristen was there for the friends and family soft opening on Saturday, and indulged in the prosciutto e melon salad, crab cake rockefeller, eggplant piccata, truffle fries, and milk and cookies. And, oh yeah, the mezzi rigatoni, which is also made with Saucy’s Vodka Sauce. “I told Noah no one does good vodka sauce around here and that he needs to do it justice,” Kristen says.
Did he do it justice?
“1000 percent,” Kristen says. “Some of the best I’ve ever had.”
